Bees Game, Slow Pitch, James Dean and other stuff

Alrighty a few weeks have gone by so heres my update.
SLOW PITCH ROCKS!!! I am completely diggin it this year.... I dont know why. I have always liked it but this year its just different. Maybe I have more energy, maybe since fast pitch is completely done Im more into it... or maybe I just freakin rock!

I am playing in a league down in Clearfield with some pals and thats been way fun. I havent played with friends for a slow pitch league so maybe thats it. Were doing okayish. Its fun... I got lined drive in the shin and foot so that wasnt too fun. But this week was the start of the Brigham City league. And Im playing on the same team Ive played on since I was like 15. The good ol Holmes team. My sister is old enough to legally play this year and my dad is playing again. So our first game was last week and it was a BLAST! I played way good haha but it just was way fun to be back with the ol gang again razzin each other! My dad struck out swing so that was AWESOME! Gave him alota crap! haha He has three major rules of slow pitch
1. Dont strike out looking
2. Dont strike out swinging
3. Dont walk
So he broke his own rule number 2. But like I said it was a blast! I cant wait for this weeks games. In Clearfield we are playing our other friends team and we want to win soo bad! And in BC its a softball reunion with my good ol pal Hil! Whoot! Hil I know youre reading this so you better bring your A game!

So I went to see Terminator Salvation... Even though most of it went straight over my head and my date had to remind me throughout the movie what had happened in the first ones, the movie was great! There is a character named Marcus Wright... hes a dreamboat. I heart him. Hes a robot slash human but aaaallll man! Hes adorable.

On Saturday I had gotten some Bees tickets from work. So I got me a date and invited my pal from work and her husband and they invited her friend and her husband. It was way fun. I had never been to a Buzz/Stingers/Bees game ever so I was excited! Even though they lost it was still a neat experience.

Well I also finished my second James Dean project! It turned out pretty neat I might say. Its not as creative as my first one. But hey its art right!

They are bigger than the picture shows. I think is 20x16. But Im stoked to do something with them. Im not sure even where to put them in my room. I have no space. But Im sure I can find somewhere. I love them. It took awhile to pick out the colors and to mix them and ugh the silver was a pain. The silver in the blue doesnt match other others and whatever. But oh well I like them!

But after doin all these I think I am going to get back into drawing. I havent decided what next to draw but Im sure it will come to me.

But lastly some sad news. My moms Uncle Ronald died this weekend. I didnt know him to well. I used to see him alot when we would go up to Malad to visit my grandparents. But its been awhile since Ive seen him, but that man was a funny dude. And Id just like to share one of my favorite stories of him. About ten years ago he had to amputate his foot. I cant remember why but he had a fake leg. Anyways he was walking down the street and he went to go kick a rock. Well he kicked a little to hard and his fake leg went FLYING out into the road. So he had to hobble out and put it back on. But thats just one of the memories I have of that crazy funny guy. He'll be missed.

I forgot to Title this.

Alrighty...

Well I figured I catch everyone up on my super busy life.... or not. But anyways, well to start off Ill explain the more cowbell. For those of you who guessed.. it was my faja (aka father) KarLee tried out for student gov (FYI she didnt make it... p.s. touchy subject) but yeah so we did this skit.. we all thought it was hilarious so thats what matters. Good times!

Second of all I want to wish my motha a
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Mom I love you. You are the most amazinous person I know. I heart your face!

Speaking of Mothers Day... We got to talk to Danny for about 6 hours... What, you might ask, could we talk about for six hours... Well we did the whole catch up hows the weather, do you need anything blah blah blah.. then we got to the good stuff. Healthy Poo... Yes you read that right. We spent a good hour or so talking about poo and pee shivers... Thats how cool our family is... LOVE IT. But hes doing good. SAME OL BRAT... But gotta love him!

Well baseball season has started in South Ogden.. WHOOT. Yesterday I had to ump behind the plate for the first time this season... and Im pretty sure I got hit more times this one game than I did all of last season. I even got hit in the neck and back of the shoulder! The two most randomness spots! My jacket had the strings from the ball tattooed on my shoulder... crazy. I had a couple in the foot... a couple in the shin and took one right off my knee cap FETCH! And to make it worse the hour game went extra innings, so it took a hour and 35 minutes. FETCHER!
But I only had to do one game and I got to sit the next. And hopefully I wont have to do it again.

Slow pitch has started out in Clearfield! I LOVE IT! Im playin third which is awesome... I havent played there for years! And never in slow pitch... but Im still trying to get my throws down in both of our games the first ball hit to me I make a TERRIBLE throw. But I get the rest there. Our last game there were bases loaded and this guy hit a screamer down the line.. I dove and it hits into my glove and bounces out! I was ticked! I would of had a double play at least! oh well we still won and our now 2-0! But I got a sweet battle wound on my left knee. It got caught up pretty good and is now starting to get black and blue! But I like it!

Box Elder softball is over... sad. They arent going to state... even sadder. But It was a pretty decent year. This region is one of the hardest. But I guess next year everybody is moving around so well see what happens.

This is a picture of some of the girls, Kortney Law, Rachel Hunsaker, Kar, Shelby Fromm, Jess Craner, Taleas Marble and Maranda Stokes. I have to credit Shelby for this idea of sitting on the field... KUDOS!

Well also I finished my Elvis Project for Salmon Sweater.

It turned out pretty cool. This picture doesnt do it justice.. its from a phone, but you get the picture. I only did four cause the paper I did it on was pretty expensive... well for me it was. But I LIKE IT!

Now Im starting to do another James Dean project (of course!) But its just going to be three paintings similar to the last one but bigger and three different pictures. Youll see it when Im done!

Anyways thats my life so far... work, school (sometimes) and art! Although I have gone on a few dates whoot! But Ill keep you updated for that at a later point in time ;)
