Bees Game, Slow Pitch, James Dean and other stuff

Alrighty a few weeks have gone by so heres my update.
SLOW PITCH ROCKS!!! I am completely diggin it this year.... I dont know why. I have always liked it but this year its just different. Maybe I have more energy, maybe since fast pitch is completely done Im more into it... or maybe I just freakin rock!

I am playing in a league down in Clearfield with some pals and thats been way fun. I havent played with friends for a slow pitch league so maybe thats it. Were doing okayish. Its fun... I got lined drive in the shin and foot so that wasnt too fun. But this week was the start of the Brigham City league. And Im playing on the same team Ive played on since I was like 15. The good ol Holmes team. My sister is old enough to legally play this year and my dad is playing again. So our first game was last week and it was a BLAST! I played way good haha but it just was way fun to be back with the ol gang again razzin each other! My dad struck out swing so that was AWESOME! Gave him alota crap! haha He has three major rules of slow pitch
1. Dont strike out looking
2. Dont strike out swinging
3. Dont walk
So he broke his own rule number 2. But like I said it was a blast! I cant wait for this weeks games. In Clearfield we are playing our other friends team and we want to win soo bad! And in BC its a softball reunion with my good ol pal Hil! Whoot! Hil I know youre reading this so you better bring your A game!

So I went to see Terminator Salvation... Even though most of it went straight over my head and my date had to remind me throughout the movie what had happened in the first ones, the movie was great! There is a character named Marcus Wright... hes a dreamboat. I heart him. Hes a robot slash human but aaaallll man! Hes adorable.

On Saturday I had gotten some Bees tickets from work. So I got me a date and invited my pal from work and her husband and they invited her friend and her husband. It was way fun. I had never been to a Buzz/Stingers/Bees game ever so I was excited! Even though they lost it was still a neat experience.

Well I also finished my second James Dean project! It turned out pretty neat I might say. Its not as creative as my first one. But hey its art right!

They are bigger than the picture shows. I think is 20x16. But Im stoked to do something with them. Im not sure even where to put them in my room. I have no space. But Im sure I can find somewhere. I love them. It took awhile to pick out the colors and to mix them and ugh the silver was a pain. The silver in the blue doesnt match other others and whatever. But oh well I like them!

But after doin all these I think I am going to get back into drawing. I havent decided what next to draw but Im sure it will come to me.

But lastly some sad news. My moms Uncle Ronald died this weekend. I didnt know him to well. I used to see him alot when we would go up to Malad to visit my grandparents. But its been awhile since Ive seen him, but that man was a funny dude. And Id just like to share one of my favorite stories of him. About ten years ago he had to amputate his foot. I cant remember why but he had a fake leg. Anyways he was walking down the street and he went to go kick a rock. Well he kicked a little to hard and his fake leg went FLYING out into the road. So he had to hobble out and put it back on. But thats just one of the memories I have of that crazy funny guy. He'll be missed.

I went to my first Bees game Friday! It was pretty awesome huh?!

Slow-pitch is so much fun I know! It was fun playing against you guys last week, even though I'd much rather be playing with you. And tell you Dad I felt the breeze on his swing! ;) ha ha ha

You are right...I am reading this and don't you worry my "A" is coming tonight! Well it better be coming, I mean it's only been a good 3 years since I've played...so I am sure my "A" game is coming for sure! (ha, ha) No comment about your dad striking out until I see how I do tonight!
