Just some Pictures

Alright this post is just going to be some random pictures.

This is a picture of my quilt!

Elder Nelson hard at work....
Merry Christmas from the Bahamas!

We also bought a new computer with a printer that has a scanner. So my dad has gone pretty crazy with uploading pictures. So here are some of my favs from back in the day!

Californ I A!

So after months of planning I finally made it to Cali! Tons of stuff went down.

I left Tuesday to go down to Ceder to spend the night at my friend Ambers house. Who is going to Cali with me. We partied there for the night. Then the next day was the drivin day. We started at a little before 8, for the 10 hour drive to Salinas. I actually drove the entire way without a problem.. never got tired. But by far the best part of the drive was that on the way to Salinas was good ol Highway 46. Where on Sept 30th, 1955 James Dean had his fatal car crash. It has been on my bucket list for the longest time. The intersection has been completely redone since his accident so it doesnt look anything like it did in 55'. But the intersection is renamed James Dean Memorial Highway. And just down the road at Cholame, Cali a Japanese billionaire made a memorial site around the "Living Tree". So I got some pictures of course. Plus there is a random cafe call Jack Ranch Cafe and inside is a ton of pictures of Jimmy Dean and just tons of stuff. I bought a light switch plate and a postcard. And we got milkshakes... not that great but thats not what matters.

Well thats basically all I can remember from the drive there.

We get to Ambers cousin (who we were there to watch him play basketball for Hartnell College in a tournament in Santa Rosa) house. Well he informs us how super scary the town is and the crime and shooting rates are ridiculous..... Could have used that info before we decided to come. Well he just says that most of the drive bys happen on the east side and we were on the west side. Okay I feel a tad better. So we went over to another players house where we were staying the night with him and his wife plus they were having a Christmas party with guys from the team. (Ps no potentials there so dont ask) anyways well while the party was going on we find out there was a shooting across the street from Ambers cousins house... awesome. 3 people were hit and one died. Then the people in the car drove of and slammed into a tree. So I would say I was a bit paranoid to say the least. But I was soooooooo tired from driving. But the party was fun. We did eggnog pong which was way fun. And a couple of the guys are suuupper funny. One guy named Ryo who is Japanese and doesnt speak English very well. But is alot better I guess. But hes so funny. Really quite but yeah says way funny things.

So yeah it was fun. Even though I was nervous for the night I fell asleep as soon as I hit the couch and slept through the night.

The next morning we headed off to Santa Rosa, which is 2.5 hours north of Salinas, with the girl (La Shana) whose house we stayed at. She actually played softball for Payson and we played each other our senior year at state. And we won and ended their year... bummer ha. But yeah she played on a couple summer teams too so that was kinda fun to find out and talk about the good ol days. The drives were way pretty too. On the way to Salinas we saw a legit farmville farm from facebook but in real life!!! It was hilarious! Miles and miles and miles of orange trees! And other trees that I could recognize cause their shapes are just alike on facebook!

So anyways Chris's basketball team lost their first game which they should have won. The other coach got kicked out though for sayin "F you " to the ref. And he said it like 3 times super loud. Way awesome. We had enought time though after the game to go to SAN FRAN! Just like 40 minutes south of where we were. So of course I had to drive. Plus it was dark out but we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge! WAY COOL. The boys were terrible back seat drivers though. Always yelling at little ol me! I missed like two exits cause I couldnt get over so I just went by them. We went to Chinatown since Chris spoke the language and plus I heart Chinese food. But I had a terrible time finding parking and I always missed opened spots and so I finally found one super close and I got a little excited and yelled "SUCK IT!" at Darrin. And then I felt better. But Then me and the parking meeter got into a fight. Apparently after 7 its free so you just need to pay for the time till 7. But I didnt know that so I kept feeding all my quarters. And the boys just thought that was hilarious that I just wasted like 2 dollars on free parking. I never heard the end of that every time I parked anywhere they brought it up. It was pretty funny but I was just fried from driving that I didnt care. We did get to go down the most crooked road in the world.. Lombard St... Look it up its pretty sweet. On the drive home the fog rolled in. Yikes when we hit Santa Rosa I couldnt see the exit! It was intense. But we made it back to the hotel and slept the night away!

The next day we slept in and got ready for the games. They won! Whoot. So that night Me Amber Chris and Chris's roommate Darrin hung out. It was way funny Amber summed it up by saying it was a date that would not end! (Even though it wasnt a date) We went to dinner at Chilies. Yum. Went back to the hotel. They call us to go to the hot tub and we go and chill. We decided to go to a movie. Invictus (GRRRRRREAAAAT MOVIE!) The boys had told us they were right behind our room at the hotel so we went over there to meet up with them. So as I always do I covered the peep hole. Well it took a long time for them to answer the door so we started pounding. Finally the door sloooowly opened.... And it wasnt the boys room... As the door opened I see this little old women with a look of terror on her poor little face!!!! AH CRAP! I was like IM SOOOO SORRY! We have the wrong room. And she was just like you scared me to death! She was a sweetheart though! But I felt sooo bad! So we went to the movies without a hitch then went back to the hotel got ready for bed. Got INTO bed. They call to go get ice cream right next door at Burger King. Heck yes Im in! We go over and inside was closed but not the drive in so we go back and get my car but I let Darrin drive cause I was sick of driving. Well of course BK ice cream machine was broken. But I really was in the mood for ice cream so I WAS GETTING IT! We couldnt find a McDonalds anywhere. We found like 3 other BKs but nope no ice cream. We went to Jack in the Box but nope no ice cream and Darrin even asked them where a McDonalds was and they were like um I dont know. So we cha cha it and found two.... one was in the WalMart by our hotel and the other just down the road of the Jack in the Box... liars. So we went to the one in Wally World. Me and Chris go in to check to see if its open. ITS OPEN! We order ice cream cones... oh wait they dont do ice cream GOLLLLL!!!! So I sulk out and we finally ended up going to the one but Jack in the Box.But I finally got my ice cream cone only after 45 minutes of driving around at 1030, and it was worth it. THEN we went to bed.

The next day we checked out. And one of Ambers friends lived in Santa Cruz so she met us in San Fran. So we actually got to visit the town in the day time. Its really neat. And SUPER different in the day time. We walked around Downtown which was intense. I never like walking were alot of people are. Amber decided that we should go up and around the block instead of going on the other side of the street.... bad idea. Since the roads are all crazy we ended up getting semi lost. Of course with all the bums and drunkies. It was intense. Dumb Amber. Never going to listen to her again. But we made it safely. Then we walked Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 49 in 30 minutes cause I had problems with the stupid meeter again. I think the guy at the store gave me a faulty dollar coin. But dont tell the boys they dont know about that. So I got all my tourist gifts I needed for the fam.

Then we drove back and watched the boys play basketball. They lost a toughie. The game ended at 6 and we took off back to Salinas. We did get to eat In n Out though... it aight....

Then I made Chris drive for awhile cause I was super tired. Good thing I did cause once we hit the awesome Highway 46 the fog rolled in again. And it was bad. So I couldnt sleep cause I was nervous. But Chris was a pro.

Then I took over four hours out of Ceder. Which was like 5 to 9 in the am. And that was tough. I managed to keep myself entertained by like making up dance moves. Lip syncin hard core to awesome songs. So once we got to Ceder Amber had to pack so I just jumped on her couch and as soon as I hit I was out! I slept for like 30 minutes. But then Amber drove the rest of the way! Which brings me here! I finally made it home.

The whole week has been quite a blur to me. Everything seems smashed up. Especially last night and this morning. I am sooo tired right now. I cant even remember what I have just typed so hopefully it makes sense. Anyways I really did have a great time. I will never forget it... hopefully.

Golden Gate Bridge

BRRRRRRR!!!!

Well I guess you can officially say its winter time!! Its so stinkin cold! Today I was supposed to go up to Logan to get key less entry installed in my car but I decided against it with all the severe winter weather warnings and all.... But I was supposed to go to lunch with Hil Dawg so I am sad about that. But hopefully we'll go this week sometime!

Well things have been pretty busy...ish. I got to go down to St George to play in the Toys for Tots slow pitch tournament. It was really fun! Even though it was super cold! You could see your breath! You could feel your face or fingers of toes! But it was great. I did pretty good I must say. I HIT A INSIDE THE PARK HOME RUN! It was great. I love it when the outfielders play in on me! Plus it didnt hurt that the girls got to hit with a smaller ball and the fact that if the ball got by you it rolled and rolled! But whatever the case I HIT A HOME RUN! And nothing you say can make me think different! But I also hit a few triples and alot of singles. But I did suck it up during some games... so it balanced out. I did pretty decent in the field. I ended up playing first base most of the time. Could have done better but I had alot of crap thrown at me. We ended up playing 8 games! Six of them just on Saturday! I havent done that for years! We took 8th out of 80 teams! HECK YEAH! I was super surprised how good we did. Mainly it was the girls who kicked but might I add.

But the best part was that on Saturday it was my birthday.... and I didnt tell anybody who was in St George with me that it was! So I spent the whole day like any other day! Except that I kept getting Facebook alerts on my phone from people saying Happy Birthday. It was great!

Then that night I stayed in Ceder with my ol friend Amber. She was hosting a bridal shower and made brownies. So she put some candles in a piece and made all the girls sing happy b day. So dont worry, the day ended up actually being a pretty darn good day. But holy cow! I was soooooooooo soooooooooore! I still can feel it today. My quads, hammys and fore arms! I have no idea why! But I have to admit I do love the feeling of being sore. It makes me feel like Ive actually accomplished something!

Last night was my work Christmas party at the Timbermine! One word... DELICIOUS! There was a ton of food and the steak was bigger than my hand! I even took a date! Whoot! Hes a cool dude. Way funny and way nice. Actually he reminds me of my brother.. yikes thats not weird at all..... but I guess Dans a neat kid too.

Speakin of Dan.. hes in the Bahamas!! The little stinker.... He is partyin it up over there! I cant believe he will be home next August and I really cant believe well be in Jamaica in less than a year!!!!!!!!! Thats the best part.

Another thing last week pretty much finished my quilt. I got all the sewing done! Whoot... I just have to get the padding and then quilt it... the hardest part. So I dont know if Ill wait to do it and just put it in my cedar chest or what. I want to just get it finished so I can use it! But yea Im a slacker.

Anyways me, Kar, my mommy and Kelliann went to the early showing of New Moon. Which was a ma za za zing... Two words.... Jacob and rain. Thats all you need to know............... sorry I was just picturing it again. Okay moving on yeah me and Kar took pictures and we got these sweet vampire slash wolf teeth. So of course we had to do some sweet pictures....

So Ms Kristen got me addicted to this whole texture framer thing that I cant remember what its called. But yeah here are some pictures that Ive done.

Well yeah so anyways peace out! And have a safe and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

okay okay ok

Okay...
So Im going to use this wonderful blog to do some well deserved venting.
So I have this friend and weve been friends for about a year. No biggie. I really dont know how to explain our friendship. Hes a huge flirt but doesnt like me like me. And Im cool with that, no biggie.
Well okay so yesterday, hes the one who wanted to take me to lunch. Cool beans free food. So were just catching up cause we hadnt seen each other in awhile. Well he gets down on himself alot which I dont blame him cause hes had alot of crap handed to him. And he is always saying how he hates not being in a relationship and blah blah and that he hates this whole dating thing. Which I totally agree... well I shouldnt say I hate it since I dont do it... anyways he mentions that he is going online to date. Which I dont have a problem with that. But he is basically saying hed rather go out with complete weirdos (not all are weirdos I know) slash most are, than freakin date me. Thats a biggie. And its cool I get it he doesnt like me blah blah but still it really kills someone when they find out their friend would rather go to the Internet instead of heaven forbid date me. Ugh people suck.
I feel better now.

I heart the D.I.

So a few Saturdays ago me and my sister went to the new D.I. in Ogden, to look for a sweater for me since its getting cold. So we went there and were in the sweater/turtleneck area and I had found a red sweater and was just caring it around. Well this wonderfully cheery older women just came up to me and asked if I was looking for a skirt to go with my sweater. At first I was hesitant to answer yes but I thought what the heck this lady might have good taste. She just said that she came across it but it was her style but than she saw me and she just knew that this skirt just suited me cause I was a girlie girl (let the record show I was wearing basketball shorts a jacket no makeup and tennis shoes I was no girlie girl but I take that complement very much!) So she ran over to the skirt dept to get the skirt. And me and Kar were just laughing so hard! I honestly was expecting this terrible thing but no. The skirt was really cute! Its like a tan skirt with brown and dark pink leaves! And the lady was such a sweetheart! She was just like I knew youd like it! And she was just some random D.I. lover like myself! So I wore the skirt to my friends wedding that Saturday and then I wore it to church the next day (dont tell) cause I was speaking in the Singles Ward and I needed to make an impression so I wore my D.I. skirt.
Oh man! I FREAKIN LOVE THE DI!!!!
Some other things.
Danny has been transferred to the Bahamas....... lame sauce. They speak some type of language there so he has to learn it haha. But lucky fella.
I am now officially a member of the Singles Ward... Yikes. But it hasnt been to bad... so far. I probably will be getting a calling here soon... so whoot for that!
Kristy is married..... bummer ha! jk CONGRATS! I heart you too Kristy.
Im actually going to lunch with my friend today to Wingers... super excited about that.
OH Thursday I along with my motha and my sista are going to the Gateway to see the premier of New Moon! Really excited about that!
My quilt is almost finished and my almost I mean not really. I got all the pieces sown together except for the outside and the back I havent picked out any fabric for it yet.
Well I cant remember what else has happened. But Ill be sure to inform the masses of people who read this blog if I remember.
Peace!
P.S. ITS ALMOST THANKSGIVING!

I Heart Dressing Up

So I planned on just sitting at home and watching Ghost Adventures Live for 7 hours. But I got invited to go to the fabulous Singles Ward Halloween Dance. I only had 3 hours to prepare, so even though I went as a 70's basketball player last year... I decided what the heck Ill just do it again. I tried to get a mullet but somebody already was going to be using it for the evening. So I got all my gear traded my long purple pants for some skimpy purple shorts and high socks with some Chucks.
Then I found these super sweet glasses of KarLees and of course I had to add them to the whole ensemble. So I had to change my character from a 70's basketball player to a "grandma living back in her old basketball glory days" So in short.. I ROCKED IT!
So the dance was alright. Except for the fact every time a stupid slow dance came on I seemed to be the only person not dancing with anyone haha. So of course I had to pull out the cell phone and pretend like I was calling someone... GOOD TIMES. But yeah but after as I was following a friend to another friends house.. she got pulled over.. HAHAHAHHA HILARIOUS! So I just drove by and waved put she didnt see me as she was to busy about to throw up, ha ha just kidding. But that'll teach ya to not flash people huh Kandie! With car headlights that is..
But anyways it turned out to be a pretty decent Halloween. Even though I missed a chunk of Ghost Adventures.... But indeed the pictures speak for themselves...

This was a picture down in Manti... have I said how much I loved my camera lately..

Good ol Fall... How I'll miss thee

KRISTY ANDERSON IS AWESOME!!

So yes I did forget about a certain person this week...
Maybe cause she got engaged and is basically going to be ditching me from here on out, I blocked her out of my mind... haha
We went and saw Paranormal Activity... SUPER SCARY!!! LOVED IT!! and yes it is rated R, but I had my reasons for going... so whateve
We also were going to go to the Haunted Hollow with Kase. After DAYS of trying to get every available to go on the same day... we finally did it! So while waiting for Kristy to get in my car I just happened to read the little coupon I got... And what did it say you might ask... Oh just that they were NOT OPEN..... YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! So we didnt tell Kase cause she probably would have bailed on us... but maybe not... but instead we just met her at Chilis and had a good dinner.. then told her. Just had to laugh about it.... Good Times... Im kinda disappointed and saddened that we werent able to go this year.. I was really excited.. But lame-o Kristy got engaged and is now "busy" but whateve
But yeah speaking of Kristy I also completely forgot about my very interesting day up in Smithfield...
So here is a list of different things that happened..
-Locked keys in car... first time I have ever done that
-Made Hil call locksmith... Luckily her hubby knew a guy!
-85 yr old locksmith named BUDD, chewed me out for standing in the cold waiting for him
-Super funny guy!
-Made me go to his business (aka his house) so he could make me another key
-I had to leave in the middle of Kristys bridal shower cause the guy said "NOW"
-Waited outside for him while he was making my key in his "basement"
-Budd yelled at me for being outside.. made me sit in my car without my keys
-Budd made me two keys and I sat in my car and stared at my locks while he "fiddled" with them
-Asked Budd how much I owed him.. He said 5... I said can I write a check (I know I dont carry cash on me okay!) He said No.. Forget it! So I offered him soup and bread and he said no I already have food!
-Had THE best night with Budd... Good ol funny Budd
So this post is dedicated to KRISTY... Sorry I forgot

Must See Movies

So I thought I had posted this post a loooong time ago but apparently I forgot to and now I know why nobody responded to it! So here it is.
Alright this has been bugging me

Awhile back I had a disturbing conversation with one of my friends. She said she had never seen The Wizard of Oz.... Now I dont know about you and your family but that is a crime in mine. So this had me thinking...

1-Who else hasnt seen this classic movie??

2-What other movies are people missing out on??

So to answer number two I am going to list some of my favorite unknown or little to unknown movies that are must see!!!

-East of Eden/Rebel Without A Cause/Giant

James Deans three movies. Great stories. At least watch one of them to be my friend.

-Singin In the Rain

You kinda have to like musicals cause there is alot of singing and dancing. But its a really funny comedic show. And Gene Kelly is super adorable and dances amazingly!

-Robin Hood and the Prince of Thieves

Super GOOD! Nothing more needs to be said. Even though its a pretty famous movie and was nominated for awards. Not very many people I know have seen it. Maybe cause Im a youngin.

-August Rush/Waitress

Two of Keri Russells finest works. Waitress is kinda darkish but not. Shes pregnant and married to a terrible guy and she makes pies. But its quirky and funny.

-Lars and the Real Girl

ADORABLE! A super awkward guy gets a doll online and tells everyone its his girl friend. But its really about this great town to takes in the "doll" as one of their own to make the guy feel better. Its hard to explain but another quirky cute show! It has Ryan Gosling in it too....

-Stranger Than Fiction

I think this is Will Ferrel best movie, well one of them. He isnt his usual self just a normal boring guy. And something happends and his life becomes this writers story. Its not a laugh out loud comedy but its funny. Even has a little romance.

Catchin Up....

So the last week or so has been pretty interesting. My friend from high school's wife died. And it sucked. I cant imagine that happening to me or my spouse or anyone and I hate that it happened. I know people say well they are in a better place now... but what about the ones left behind. I hate that it happened to this person. He is one of the strongest people that I know and I know that if it happened to anyone He could deal with it. Even though it probably is THE hardest thing in the entire world right know. But even reading his status updates on his facebook you can tell, he is trying to dealing. He is so strong in the Gospel and the whole families can be together again. And ugh it still gets to me. I could not stop thinking about it for awhile and it just made me so so sad.
So I cant even imagine.
Okay Im done venting.
So updates:
-Went to Manti to Ashley aka Salmon Sweaters farewell... now that shes gone Ive lost half of my readers haha. But yeah way good talk... Shes been out almost a week. Shes learner her some spanish!
-Did a little thing... FINISHED SCHOOL! BOOYAH!! finish. fin. done. bada bing!
-Started a quilt and now that Im done with school I have a lot of time to finish it.
-Started plans for a trip to Cali!!!!
-Found out that while in Cali, we will be super close to where James Dean died... so FIELD TRIP!
-Went into mourning after the Cardinals got slammed in the first round of playoffs
But yeah thats about it... So ta ta

No Permanent Parting

"There was sorrow, deep and poignant and tragic. But shining through their tears was a faith beautiful and certain that as surely as there was now a sorrowful separation, there would someday be a glad reunion, for that marriage had begun with a sealing for time and eternity in the house of the Lord, under the authority of the holy priesthood." -Gordon B. Hinckley

"Death, which faces all of us, is not the end. There is the ever-present expectancy of death, but in reality there is no death—no permanent parting." -Ezra Taft Benson

Whats New?

Whats new with Jacki you might ask..... Well let me catch you up
It was my dads 46th birthday last Sunday so we partied like.... 10 year olds!

We went to the circus, played laser tag, mini golfed, and go karted, oh and hit a SpongeBob pinata.

The birthday boy and his autograph book!

The best part of the circus were defiantly the elephants! They are adorable!

All of us right after the circus... I admit I was happy to be done! Those ESA seats are NOT comfortable!

SpongeBob and the birthday boy!

It was actually really fun slash weird but fun!

I went to see 500 Days of Summer finally! I went with Kar and Aims and after finding a non squeaky chair... which was hard (even though we had the entire theater to ourselves) we finally picked one and enjoyed the movie.

I went on a blind date. We played racket ball, made pizza, played marioKart on the Wii, and watched Monsters vs Aliens.

IM ALMOST DONE WITH SCHOOL... Im talking about if I wasnt blogging right now I probably would be finished already, but that wouldnt be fun. BUT IM ALMOST DONE!

Hit a raccoon with my week old car.

Cried about hitting a raccoon with my week old car.
Got a new bumper for my week old car after hitting a raccoon.

We had one of Dans companions come visit us. His name is Jeff Dove and hes from Cali but hes going to school in SLC. Dan was his last companion before he left. It was good to hear some stories about him. I dont know if any of you remember the story of Dan getting robbed. But Jeff was there when it happened so he let us in on the details! Pretty intense

So yeah I cant think of much else. Work is going good although Ive had to ref a lot of flag football games in the rain and snow. And I think its finally getting to me I havent been feeling to great. But its almost done! And I cant wait! Flag football is my least favorite to ref slash score keep.
But yeah HALLOWEEN IS UPON US! This is my favorite time of year October!!! We got some of our decorations out. But usually me and Kar go crazy with the outdoor decorations so you'll have to stay tuned for some of those pictures or just come by cause Im pretty sure Ill be home!

Instructions for a Wonderful, Fulfilling Life

My mom sent this to me. And even though I hate forwards from her... this one is actually a great one.

1 Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

2 Memorize your favorite poem.

3Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have, or sleep all you want.

4 When you say, “I love you”, mean it.

5 When you say, “I’m sorry”, look the person in the eye.

6 Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

7 Believe in love at first sight.

8 Never laugh at anyone’s dreams.

9 Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it’s the only way to live life completely.

10 In disagreements, fight fairly. No name-calling.

11 Don’t judge people by their relatives.

12 Talk slowly but think quickly.

13 When someone asks you a question you don’t want to answer, smile and ask, “Why do you want to know?”

14 Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

15 Call your mom.

16 Say “bless you” when you hear someone sneeze.

17 When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.

18 Remember the three R’s: Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for all your actions.

19 Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

20 When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

21 Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

22 Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, conversational skills will be as important as any other.

23 Spend some time alone.

24 Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.

Sam Wheat and Miss Vida Boheme

So the movie industry lost another great yesterday.
Patrick Swayze.
What an actor.
He was known for his Dirty Dancing, being an Outsider and a great Ghost.
But by far my favorite Patrick Swayze movie is To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar.
In an early blog I talked about this movie and how Mr Swayze and Wesley Snipes where drag queens.
I love this show. It is one of my favorites.
Im trying to get a video clip of some funny moments but blogger isnt cooperating very much!

One of my favorite lines from Ghost is when either him or Demi Moore says "I love you" the other one always replied "Ditto" I dont know I have always loved that.

This clip is also one of my favorites. Its an SNL skit he did with Chris Farley. Pretty funny.

He has been in some pretty unforgettable movies. So without a doubt he will be remembered.

Also on a different note I now have a Flickr account where I have put some of my photos I have taken. So if you want to check it out go on ahead...

Montana...... Bingo!

So once upon a time we were at the senior citizen center up in Montana, where we go at least one day cause my Grandma Joan is like in charge of the whole thing, playing bingo. My dad had been messing with Kars bingo board covering certain numbers over when they werent being called. So Karlee in return covered B 4 but later they called that number so it wasnt that big of deal. Then she covered B 10. Well even later dad only had "one" left, so he was getting all excited and doing the telepathy thing "O 68" well the dude called it and dad got sooo HAPPY! But me and Kar were laughing sooo hard and crying and we were trying to get him not to say it but he said BINGO! Which made us laugh even harder! So the lady checked it but was like "Um he didnt call B 10" Holy crap dad got so sad, but was laughing and even said that it was a good one. Oh man good times.

So every time we go up to Seeley, we always wanted to go to the LDS church up there. So finally we were like this time WE WILL! So before we realized it was Fast & Testimony weekend, we had already decided to go. We either thought this will be super boring slash awkward with like ten people ( three including us) or a really good experience hearing peoples testimonies from a really small non Mormon town. Well we get there and they dont have a chapel just a relief society room where they do the whole sha bang. So I kept thinking its okay it will be fun......

The time went by way fast! There were quite a bit of people there and never a dull moment. I mean to start of the meeting with the choir director removing her retainer out of her mouth.... I knew this meeting was going to be special.

So with about 10 minutes left I was like you know this meeting has been really really great hearing about how these people kinda function in this small town and not being over populated with Mormons. So this old gentle men gets and and he looks like a cookie old guy so I turned to Kar and said "Hes my new best friend" before he even said a word. DOUBLE U OH DOUBLE U (aka wow) He was a yeller!!! Man and as soon as he got up you could see the "regular church goers" shake their heads and started to brace themselves. HE WENT OFF ON OBAMA AND THE WHITE HOUSE AND GLENN BECK! Let me list some memorable quotes
"Get on your white horse and carry the torch of righteousness for Glenn Beck."
"Pray to give Glenn Beck super natural powers."
"The communist in the white house is going to send out spies to our homes and find out our family secrets!"
Our children are going to pay the price for these communist!"
Jiminy Crickets!
I could not look at the guy but Kar said he was staring right at us the entire time. Yikes. I started giggling and there were only like four rows of chairs so Im pretty sure he knew I was laughing but I wasnt the only one. But oh man it was the most memorable experience ever. And the worst part is that even though there were some great testimonies, they will ever more be over shadowed by the crazy Glenn Beck guy.

Best fast and testimony ever though!!!

The End

Here are some pictures from Montana

The Grandmas putting the dinosaur puzzle together... I did most of it though.
My Uncle Jims, Uncle Bobs, my dads, and Aunt Pattys tassels that are up at our cabin I though it looked like a cool picture.

The cabin.... can you spot KarLee holding something.....

Tops

Well I figured since I have been a blogger for almost a year, that it was time to give my page a little makeover. And since Ive been in a drawing mood I thought this background fit perfect.

Oh *God* I wanna know *why*? *Why*? Lord, I wish I could understand! [in a firm tone]
M'Lynn: No! No! No! It's not supposed to happen this way! I'm supposed to go first. I've always been ready to go first! I-I don't think I can take this! I-I don't think I can take this! I-I just wanna *hit* somebody 'til they feel as bad as I do! I just wanna hit something! I wanna hit it hard! [continues sobbing]
Clairee: Here! [grabs Ouiser by the shoulder and positions her in front of M'Lynn]
Clairee: Hit this! Go ahead M'Lynn, slap her!
Ouiser Boudreaux: [taken aback and confused] Are you crazy?

Sixth Sense

Dont ask me... I just cant help but bawl my face off at the end when hes talking to his wife.
Malcolm Crowe: [after realizing the time has come for him to move on] I think I can go now. Just needed to do a couple of things. I needed to help someone; I think I did. And I needed to tell you something: You were never second, ever. I love you. You sleep now. Everything will be different in the morning.
Anna Crowe: [in her sleep] Good night, Malcolm...
Malcolm Crowe: Good night, sweetheart.

Sports
A League Of Their Own
Helen Haley: Has anybody seen my new red hat?
Dottie Hinson: Oh piss on your hat.
Helen Haley: That was uncalled for.

Jerry Maguire
Do I even have to say it.... "You had me at Hello....."

Bull Durham
Crash Davis: Well, I believe in the soul, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.

But if I had to narrow it down to the top six movies it would be

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
Marian: You came for me... You're alive...
Robin Hood: I would die for you.

Singin' in the Rain
A League of their Own

Transformers 1
Sam Witwicky: Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?

Rebel Without a Cause
Kung Fu Panda

Po: There is no charge for awesomeness... or attractiveness.

One of the Best Nights Of the Year!

So like two weeks ago was RELAY FOR LIFE! It was so great! My good pals Ashley aka Salmon Sweater, Missy Tia Tia, Taylor, Frank!, and Kristy came up and hung out all night with us!

It was great! It started off a little stressful trying to get thing set up and finding outlets for our sweet TV and stuff. But once that all settled down and everyone was where they were supposed to be, we were able to relax and let the party begin!

The whole night is basically a blur though but I do remember random things

-getting my fortune read but some random lady
(she basically told me I am going to die in a car crash with bad tires, and that I will get a divorce sometime in my life..... soooo... thats neat)
-got on stage and sang (well yelled) karaoke with Frank... Dancing Queen... thats right ABBA
-smashed my finger in the frozen t-shirt contest (which me and Kar blew the competition away!)
-helped everyone else get their shirts un froze
-saw a random Star Wars Storm Trooper
-hula hooped for about .7 seconds
-Frank saying "cancer sucks" and doing a thumbs down in front of everyone
-got challenged by Autoliv to a wii bowling contest and loosing
-almost punched my partner in the wii bowling contest cause he was super annoying
-played ping pong on a home made table
-played about 10 minutes of Mario Kart on the wii
-watching the sun come up and listening to Frank sing Tomorrow from Annie

It was so much fun! I loved it I cant wait until next year. Although Ill need a year to recuperate from stayin up all night.
But it seriously one of the funnest nights I have had in a long time!

Well some other stuff thats happened

-Went and did some senior pictures for Kar Kar
-Went to a homecoming for our friend Derrik
-Found out Salmon Sweater is going to be learnin herself some Spanish and heading to HOUSTON TEXAS!
-Worked for the first time in weeks!
-Played a few slow pitch games
-Sprained my ankle in a slow pitch game
-Went to the drive in, of course, with Wayne, Amber, Chris and some others
-Bought and watched High School Musical 3! Super great!
-Saw Public Enemies with Kristen
-Decided to sell my car!
-Played volleyball with a bunch of people
-Decided to enter some stuff in the fairs
-Watched To Catch A Predator for a few hours "Im Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC"
-Floated the Logan canal with Kristy and Kar... AWESOME
-Watched one of the funniest movies of all time To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar 8 times. (its with Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes.... they are drag queens)

Well I guess when you write things you do in a list like I did it makes it feel like I did do alot of things these last couple of weeks. But they have been a blast of weeks!

These are a couple of the pictures we did... the fun ones that didnt make the mommy cut aka her approval well except the black and white one.

Bear Lake, Lagoon, The Fourth, Bear Lake!

Well
Freak this summer has been a blast!

A few weeks ago me, Amber ( my elementary bud that just got home from her mission in Germany!) Kar, and a couple of her friends went up to Bear Lake for the weekend. It was super fun! We camped in my uncles yard! Me and Kar got fried pretty good. I am still peeling from it but it was so nice up there! It was the first trip up there this year for us.

Buddy the dog! Hes a sport!

Kars friends built this awesome sand castle!

Then the next weekend we went to LAGOON! My dad gets tickets every year from his work but the last couple of years we passed on them, cause we were too cool to go to lame lagoon... well I havent had that much fun at Lagoon ever! First of all us four all had on tie dye.. I mean honestly the day was already awesome! Then for some super strange reason my dad (who is terrified of heights) decided to go on two of the most craziest ride ever! The sky dive swing thing and the Catapult. (It must be a mid life crisis) Well Kar and him went on the sky dive one then me and him went on the Catapult. It was intense.

They strap you in and then you have a minute of waiting until they loaded the springs. Holy shiz. I though I would vomit I was so nervous. And once they shoot you into the air, you go so fast that I couldnt even think of any swear words to even yell out ( not that I would of course) But the kicker is on the way down the ball thing freakin spins. Not cool. But we did it and the we did it AGAIN! My Faja did a re-launch thing so they set us up again and shoot us out! The wait wasnt as bad but still bad! Afterword I had to go lay down cause I was a tad bit dizzy. But I DID IT!
Whoops our seat belt came undone!! Pretty scary... but we survived.
The whole day was a blast. Although I didnt win the grand prize in the wiffle ball tossing game, but Kar Kar did! Lame... but still kinda cool.

This was the first ride we went on! Gotta love the Colossus or however you spell it.
The next day was the 4TH! Which is one of my fav holidays! The whole day was packed. We went to the breakfast in Honeyville, then went to the booths in Perry or Willard (I cant remember which but there both the same) But there was this awesome WWF style wrestling show... random Id say so! It was so funny me and Kar got into it a ton and yelled way stupid stuff like... "You suck!" and "Crown Him!" That last one is from Ready to Rumble. ( Such a funny show!) Anyways it was fun.
Then I had to of course take a nap so I could make it through the fireworks.
Then we had a BBQ at Gma Frys. Delicious.
Then some how I volunteered my services to our neighbor and helped polished walking sticks for girls camp.
THEN me and Kar got ready for the fireworks. We didnt plan our outfits but we looked awesome!
It was way funny! I painted her face too!
But the fireworks were good, kinda short but I could have been talking during the whole thing...
Well this week we went up to Bear Lake again. Kristy A, me, Maja and Faja, Kar, and a couple of her guy friends went up. And basically did the same thing as the week before! I didnt get as burnt as before just Im a little rosy right now. I love it!
We found this sweet octopus sand sculpture thing and we told everyone we built it and some guys took pictures by it and everything it was way funny.
But it was so fun! Thanks for coming Kristy!
