We had two games against Boise States Club team on Saturday. The entire day it poured. But we decided to play anyways cause they drove all the way down here. So the first game we won, but by the end of the first game the fields where a mess. But for some reason we decided to start the second game. We were home and got our three outs and the ump came over and said we got our at bat then they were going to call the game. Our first batter got two pitches and they called the game. It was raining so hard! You could barely see anything. So we all booked it out to our cars. We were soaking wet all through our jackets and everything. And the mud was everywhere! We got to our cars just in time for the rain to hit even harder! It was crazy but so fun! About a half an hour later I went back to the field and the entire left and center field was under water! A good foot.
I wanted to go play in it... but mommy and daddy wouldnt let me out of the car. :( We also just had two other games on Monday. The fields were actually pretty okay. The outfield was still swampy and you could sink into the infield in some spots. We won one and lost one.. yet the lost was to the same summer team as we lost to before. So I will just skip that game, although we actually play very well. The first inning just killed us as always. The first game was against another summer team AND WE WON!
So an exciting thing happened this weekend. We had two very important people come up for the weekend to visit us. A one Miss Ashley and the one and only Mr Zach. They are two of Dans good friends. And they decided to spend Confrence weekend with us. It was so good to see them! We party harty all weekend... We watched some of The Office, which is always a delight. Then we hit up the DI for some shopping! We bought quit a bit of stuff, including a scanner that I will eventually use to put up some awesome picture on my blog! So be ready! Well the after we all went to Wally World and Ashley found a Burger King Crown and decided it was safe enough to put it on...
Yeah she is pretty crazy... ha HAha HAHAHAH... Thats an inside joke. But she makes us all laugh.. even though most of the time its at her. Love it!
On the way to taking Ashley to Confrence we ran into a road block...
For some reason these little guys decided to waddle into the road. It was so random I loved it! So we needed to stop and take some pictures! It was great... and so funny.. they were quackin or whatever and each other and then turning around. It was almost like they were back seat driving. It gave me a chuckle.
